Description
Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Program Manager in conjunction with the Program Manager, the Residential Associate Team Lead facilitates the daily activity of their respective shift at the Adolescent Program by overseeing scheduling and operations for RA staff. The RA Team Lead will facilitate residential activities and manage the resident’s safety as outlined by the interdisciplinary treatment team for the delivery of services. Additionally, the RA Team Lead will promote the use of the Nurtured Heart Approach, as well as the Attachment, Regulation, and Competency interventions (ARC) in all residential activities with the goal of sustaining a safe and comfortable environment for the residents of the program.
The schedule for this role is Sunday-Thursday, 11:00pm to 7:00am.
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:
1.) Based on The Center for Great Expectations Competency Program established for direct care providers, possess the skills and competencies necessary to communicate, assess, evaluate and perform treatments, set goals, and educate in accordance with age specific criteria and issues of child, adolescent, and adult clients within the context of the job responsibilities and functions.

OPERATIONS:
- Implement and ensure completion of daily activities on shift (i.e., meals, chores, shopping, educational groups, recreational activities, client appointments, transportation).
- Ensure resident safety by maintaining knowledge of residential census and conducting periodic room checks.
- Prepare resident rooms for admission and discharge.
- Facilitate and oversee activities consistent with residential treatment plan of identified life skill needs.
- Implement residential policies/procedures and curriculum for residential living.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and communicate needs to Direct Supervisor.
- In coordination with nursing staff, observe, manage and document self-administration of medication.
- Supervise and document parent's administration of medication to their children.
- Transport residents to scheduled and/or emergency medical appointments and log as directed. Deliver appropriate documentation to the Nurse for the upkeep of medical records.
- Transport and accompany residents to necessary activities (i.e., grocery shopping, recreational activities, etc.), and appointments (i.e., Board of Social Services, WIC, vocational training, volunteer services, employment, self-help meetings, etc.).
- Facilitate and record fire drills and other emergency drills procedures as instructed.
- Ensure facility compliance with regulatory licensing requirements.
- Provide oversight and maintenance of vehicles, equipment, supplies, or other items related to the program.
- Participate in program, committee and clinical staff meetings as directed.
- Participate in program evaluation and ongoing efforts to enhance quality of services.
- Participate in training programs to enhance teamwork, team collaboration, communication and program development.
- Facilitate residential conflict resolution and provide crisis intervention as needed.
RESIDENTIAL ASSOCIATE OVERSIGHT:
- Supervise RA staff members and provide ongoing performance feedback.
- Assist with scheduling of RA staff members and managing call outs, etc.
- Ensure completion of Daily Shift Schedule Assignments and Daily Transportation schedule to be distributed to all staff on shift prior to start of shift.
- Ensure completion of documentation in daily communication log, medication log, incident reports, visitation, etc.
- Oversee, and contribute to RA activity to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic building atmosphere and report all negligence to Direct Supervisor.
