Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Inside Sales teams are responsible for selling TE Medical’s products, services and solutions, providing detailed technical product information and building and maintaining relationships with customers in assigned territories. The Inside Sales team is responsible for growing and supporting existing customers, as well as identifying and growing new customers. TE Medical’s new SDR(Sales Development Representative) function will be responsible for driving top of funnel activities, expanding critical contacts within target accounts, and generally expanding TE Medical’s reach with new and established accounts. The SDRs will act as a bridge between sales and marketing, inclusive of a continuous improvement approach to driving and supporting active lead generation.
The newly created role of Inside Sales/SDR Manager is responsible for developing and leading the team to support our strategy and to drive maximum revenue growth via top of funnel initiatives and IS activities. This manager will scale and drive account penetration and contact expansion for all accounts within their territory and within the strategic focus areas. Responsible for promoting the technology of TE Medical Business Unit and position TE Medical for a long-term growth. Regularly communicate performance to internal stakeholders, managing programs from concept to completion, and setting strategic vision of the IS/SDR teams to key stakeholders and the broader commercial org.
What you will be doing:
- Develop and execute effective Inside Sales and SDR strategies and work with Marketing and Sales functions to build and manage top of funnel growth
- Support the strategic shift to selling highly engineered components leveraging digital channels
- Drive alignment of customer’s business priorities across various TE Medical functional teams (i.e., product management, engineering, project management, operations, quality, and finance)
- Follow SET framework to drive growth strategy and team development
- Provide leadership and strategic direction to the Inside Sales and SDR teams, along with matrix support of Account Managers and GAMs
- Lead and stand accountable for the regular sales operations including forecasting, booking fulfillment, pipeline development, accounts receivable management, customer relationship management and TEOA (TE Operational Advantage) Kaizen activities
- Accurately and effectively manage top-of-funnel conversations with engineers, decision makers, and other stakeholders within target accounts with the goal of scheduling sales meetings for Account Managers
- Architect, test, develop, and scale the Sales Development function to create a Center of Excellence, further cross-pollenating successful virtual-sales methods into the broader Sensors sales organization
- Partner and speak with data to establish and socialize an overarching strategy for Sales Development that can be scaled across multiple business units
- Evaluate, develop, and implement tech stacks with recognizable, quantifiable ROIs for the sales organization
- Act as thought leader to develop new, define Sales Development processes within a highly matrixed organization
- Work closely with Marketing to develop and execute on SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time bound) Account-Based Marketing plans and campaigns to support funnel growth
- Drive accountability to pipeline KPIs, including but not limited to pipeline efficiency, velocity, and growth
- Understand & analyze market conditions or other data to provide feedback to internal stakeholders and to improve sales collateral, product go-to-market, and product roadmaps
- Scale, coach and manage a high-performing team of SDRs and Inside Sellers
- Own and drive execution of TE’s new business pipeline goals by understanding and analyzing top of the funnel metrics, pipeline quality, and opportunity conversion
- Shape deep partnerships with Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, Enablement, and Product Marketing teams to successfully collaborate on new campaigns and outreach activities; meet stretch pipeline goals and optimize IS/SDR teams for efficiency
- Attract, develop, and retain world-class IS/SDR talent
- Adhere to established budgets and manage team accordingly
- Manage teams and KPIs through effective system tools (i.e., SFDC, Power BI, IBP, Mediafly, etc.)
- Develop and amplify talent, including robust management of Individual Development Plans
