Position Overview
Responsible for performing mold and tooling changes, repairs and adjustments to injection molding machinery, repairs to facility and support equipment.
Essential Job functions
Performs all assigned work with safety as the first and most important priority.
Performs scheduled and unscheduled cleaning and maintenance on injection molds and molding machines.
Performs work order repairs, inspections, reports, and adjustments on all production and facilities equipment.
Troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment using manuals, prints, and schematics efficiently.
Identifies parts and materials needed for repairs.
Uses hand and power mechanical tools as needed to complete repairs of worn or defective parts.
Safely operates hand trucks, pallet jacks, and fork lifts as needed.
Participates in plant safety, health, and environmental programs.
Communicates and interacts positively with production, quality, and other maintenance personnel.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Technical training is a plus.
At least one year of experience working in a manufacturing technical environment is required.
Ability to read and work from written manuals and drawings is required.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and reach repeatedly for 12 hour shifts is required.
Ability to work nights and weekends, and rotating schedules is required.
