Responsibilities
- Collaborates with different student-facing teams to strategize and identify program opportunities to enhance student experience and increase overall student engagement.
- Partners with the Working Professionals Student Life team members by supporting student requests and problem-solving student needs.
- Collaborates with London and Hong Kong program teams and facilitates necessary committees.
- Plans and manages faculty and student engagement such as Faculty Social Hours.
- Creates and manages student quarterly communications, including weekly digest, invitations and updates through the school’s digital platforms.
- Provides financial oversight of the operating budget for multiple student group accounts and operation budgets, and monitors and reconciles the Student Life accounts.
- Supports the EMBA class weekend experience such as catering, coordination with other relevant Booth departments, and other event logistics.
- In partnership with the Faculty and Academic Services team, manages the purchase and distribution of student textbooks for EMBA students.
- Manages Booth Groups, the event registration system for student clubs and Student Life.
- Assists the Student Life team with event logistics, event materials, follow-up, metrics, and process improvements.
- Works closely with Booth Accounting on all contract submissions, negotiations, and payments.
- Manages Teaching Assistant payments and evaluations with Booth HR.
- Serves as an approver of the student listservs.
- Manages systems such as Booth Groups and Oracle.
- Maintains a working knowledge of Student Life Canvas Program sites.
- Manages office administrative functions, supplies, and facilities coordination.
- Assists with staffing Student Life events when necessary, including evenings and weekends.
- Undertakes projects and provides administrative support as assigned, related to the business of the organizational unit.
- Coordinates with the students and staff to develop activities, programs, and initiatives related to student life, and/or community involvement. Develops and implements straightforward programming.
- Advises, supports, and recommends concepts for programming to leaders of various organizations and programs.
- Performs other related work as needed.
