Transportation Assistant (Office Automation)

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Requires at least 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS 4 grade level in the Federal Service that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Specialized experience includes: applying transportation regulations and practices to perform a wide variety of administrative support; coordinating travel arrangements; maintaining records, utilizing databases, reconciling records and generating reports; investigating/resolving issues and taking corrective actions; and communicating effectively with a wide variety of individuals. OR EDUCATION (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED): Requires successfully completed 4 years of education above the high school level in any field for which high school graduation or the equivalent is the normal prerequisite. OR COMBINATION (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED): Requires equivalent combinations of successfully completed post-high school education (in excess of 2 years) and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements. AND TYPING PROFICIENCY: This position requires the skills of a qualified typist. In addition to meeting the experience and/or education requirements, you must be able to type at least 40 words per minute.
