Join our dedicated team as a Housekeeper / Environmental Services Technician and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your efforts will directly contribute to preventing the spread of infections and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere within our hospital facilities. Responsibilities

  • Clean Patient Rooms: Perform regular cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms, including beds, furniture, and medical equipment.
  • Maintain Bathrooms: Ensure all bathrooms are thoroughly cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Sanitize Common Areas: Regularly clean and disinfect common areas such as waiting rooms, hallways, and lounges.
  • Waste Management: Properly dispose of waste and hazardous materials following hospital protocols.
  • Restock Supplies: Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Report Maintenance Issues: Identify and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
  • Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere to all safety and infection control guidelines to protect yourself and others.
  • Assist with Special Cleaning Projects: Participate in deep cleaning and special projects as required.
  • Support Team Efforts: Collaborate with other housekeeping staff and hospital personnel to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.

 

Qualifications

  • Physical Dexterity: Ability to perform tasks requiring physical strength, dexterity, and a range of motion, including bending, lifting, and reaching.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitization.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills to interact effectively with patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Experience: Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
  • Reliability: Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Team Player: Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
