The Sports Partnership Specialist will assist the Head of Sports Marketing in the overall management and organization of partnership rights and contractual assets between Oracle and their Global Sports and Hospitality Partners. The role will focus on our 3 Tier 1 Partnerships, Oracle Red Bull Racing, SailGP and the English Premier League. This highly visible role is fast-paced; the successful candidate will be able to multi-task efficiently with polish and discretion. Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to comfortably engage with senior executives, and attention detail are necessary for success.
This role will also focus on managing the internal communications strategy to ensure that our technology stories and global event offerings are shared with the greater Oracle community through various communication platforms. The Sports Partnership Specialist reports into the Head of Sports Marketing part of the Customer Marketing team.
Responsibilities displayed in the job posting- Manage the inbound requests for speaking engagements, brand needs and experiential demos
- Build out processes for internal request tools to help create efficiencies across all key internal teams
- Manage and track the overall list of needs/asks between Oracle and partners
- Track overall partnership contractual assets
- Manage various communication tactics focused on partnerships – slack channels, website, newsletters
- Define and report on various sports marketing areas of interest to show partnership ROI
- Assist when needed for on-site event planning and execution
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 1+ years of professional experience preferably in marketing, sales or business development.
- Ability to work independently and handle high pressure situations in a fast-paced environment
- Enthusiasm for learning new technologies while working in a sports hospitality environment
- Proven ability to identify, initiate and drive projects and events to successful completion, on deadline, is required.
- Sensible problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally, think critically, indirectly influence, and drive to creative solutions
- Maintains highly professional interactions with key partners and within the team.
- Applied sense of urgency and ability to drive processes to achieve results
- Impeccable attention to detail, strong organizational skills and willingness to handle administrative aspects of the position
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to create and deliver targeted messages to key stakeholders
- Comfortable with technology (collaboration tools), proficient in Excel

US: Hiring Range: from $27.02 to $54.13 per hour; from $56,200 to $112,600 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
