The Product Management area is responsible for designing, developing and managing activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life. Serves as the central resource with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality, and marketing as the product(s) move to production and distribution

TNS is seeking a hands-on Portal Product Manager with a passion for customer success, innovation, and the desire to make an impact through enhanced portal experiences. In this role, you will be developing strategies for our customer and partner portals. You will be responsible for engaging stakeholders, customers, and partners, developing requirements, and ensuring a holistic approach to self-service engagement via our portals from concept through service delivery. You understand the importance of collaboration and will engage with cross-functional teams to coordinate, plan, and prioritize activities to ensure the right features and UX design are delivered in the right manner, and at the right time.

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate is a strategic collaborator who serves as a business partner to TNS leadership. You are a smart, data-driven decision maker, who excels at indirectly leading a high performing team, and takes professional pride in operational excellence while meeting and exceeding stretch goals.

You will develop TNS protection products with the focus on internal and external portal product support, taking into account the market opportunity, regulatory environment, and local customs to drive a best in class experience across all TNS Communications products worldwide.

You are highly adaptable — having been successful in meeting the demands of a big company as well as being scrappy and hands-on in a start-up.  In addition, you have a passion for product development, and are driven to grow and scale TNS forward through the inevitable ups and downs of developing new experiences across multiple products.

  • Establish and maintain business relationships with all TNS Communications Product Owners

  • Develop business cases

  • Collaborate with broader TNS product teams to formulate product requirements

  • Evolve the product requirements with input from Customers, Product Owners, RFPs and Market analysis

  • Create Product Requirements Documents for Architecture and Engineering teams

  • Prioritize Product Features for specific releases and customer delivery

  • Create, manage and track the roadmap implementation for the product releases

  • Review and provide input to Architecture, Design Docs and Test Plans from engineering

  • Work with engineering to determine (LOE) for custom feature enhancements

  • Recommend build vs. buy for new products or features, working closely with TNS Engineering and Architecture teams and technology partners

  • Oversee Product Demos, Lab IOTs and Field Trials

  • Conduct Competitive Analysis in this product domain to set the product direction

  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to create and review Product Literature such as Product Descriptions, Sales Collateral, White Papers, etc.

  • Collaborate with Sales team in presales support activities with product presentations, as needed

  • Support account teams in responding to customer RFPs and sales initiatives, as needed

  • For this role, we anticipate paying $135,000-$165,000 annually. Any compensation range provided for a role is an estimate determined by available market data. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the range provided considering each candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

  • A minimum 8 years of product management experience in Telco industry

  • International experience helpful
