Job Description

The Courtesy Patrol/Community Representative is the community's representative whose primary duties are to patrol the property by foot and vehicle to provide the greatest visible presence on the property and the utmost in professional customer service.

Pay: $16.50 / Hour

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Ensure the wellbeing of the community common areas and amenity facilities.
  2. Be tactful and courteous at all times.
  3. Respond to all pages for assistance.  Inform management of major emergencies.
  4. Walk the common areas and amenity facilities on a regular basis. 
  5. Maintain a log of all happenings in the community.
  6. Respond to complaints of loud disturbances.  Analyze the situation and contact the Police Department if assistance is needed.  Use good judgment.
  7. Tag and tow illegally parked vehicles.
  8. Keep a log of burned out light bulbs.
  9. Pick up trash and debris on the grounds.
  10. Other
    1. Consistently and fairly enforce community rules and regulations, FPI Standard Operating Procedures.
    2. Comply with all Fair Housing Laws and FPI policies and procedures.
    3. Promote a professional image by adhering to FPI Management's Dress Code Policy.
    4. Conduct displayed must be of a professional manner when communicating with employees, residents, prospective residents, clients, vendors, and guests while representing FPI Management.
    5. Responsible for meeting all training requirements for the position (Grace Hill, Safety Meetings, etc.).
    6. Perform any and all functions as directed by the supervisor, including special project assistance.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • High School diploma or equivalency certificate required.
  • Valid Driver's License, a good driving record, current motor vehicle insurance which meets State requirements, and an operable vehicle that meets FPI’s Driving Standards and Personal Vehicle Use policy.
  • Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
  • Basic computer skills (email, internet).
