What You’ll Do:
As a Home Care Aide, you’ll provide compassionate personal care and homemaker services that make a real impact on our clients' well-being. You’ll help maintain a safe, healthy, and happy environment based on an individualized care plan.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Personal Care & Grooming: Help clients look and feel their best by assisting with daily hygiene routines, including showers, baths, and personal grooming.
• Toileting Assistance: Provide respectful and supportive help with toilet facilities, ensuring clients’ comfort and dignity.
• Skin Care & Prevention: Deliver gentle skin care while keeping an eye out for pressure areas, sores, and applying preventive measures.
• Safe Transfers: Assist clients in and out of bed using safe techniques, including gait belts and mechanical lifts, to ensure smooth and secure transitions.
• Mobility Support: Encourage independence by helping clients walk or move around using walkers, canes, or wheelchairs.
• Medication Reminders: Provide friendly cues to support clients in taking their medications as prescribed.
• Meal Preparation & Feeding: Prepare delicious and nutritious meals, and assist with feeding when needed, to keep clients healthy and happy.
• Client Monitoring: Observe and document client health and care, reporting any changes to ensure they receive the best possible care.
• Infection Control: Practice basic infection control procedures to keep clients safe and healthy.
• Environment Maintenance: Keep the client’s home clean, safe, and comfortable, making it a place they love to be.
• Emergency Response: Recognize and respond to emergencies, contacting emergency personnel and supervisors when necessary.
• Understanding Client Needs: Be attentive to the physical, developmental, and emotional needs of each client, providing personalized care.
• Respect & Dignity: Treat every client and their property with the utmost respect, honoring their privacy and preferences.
