Senior Software Engineer, Build Tools

In this role, you will be responsible for building robust internal tools to manage the release and deployment of autonomous driving software and context data. You will play a critical role in our daily development and operations while helping improve development efficiency across the entire company.</p> <h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Design, develop, and maintain build &amp; release pipelines for autonomous driving software packages</li> <li>Architect and implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines</li> <li>Create and maintain version control systems for autonomous driving software and contextual data (configuration files, map data, etc.)</li> <li>Manage third-party and open source dependencies across our technology stack</li> <li>Collaborate with algorithm and operations teams to ensure smooth development and testing workflows</li> <li>Optimize testing and verification processes across cross-functional teams</li> <li>Implement best practices for software integration in a fast-paced autonomous vehicle environment</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></h3> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience in software development with focus on build systems and package management</li> <li>Strong proficiency in Python and C++ programming</li> <li>Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals and data structures</li> <li>Demonstrated experience with C++ building tools like CMake and Bazel</li> <li>Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker)</li> <li>Experience with Git workflows and branching strategies</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail</li> <li>Outstanding communication abilities and collaborative mindset</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Experience with compilers, linkers, and assemblers</li> <li>Full-stack development experience</li> <li>Background in autonomous vehicle systems or robotics</li> <li>Experience with distributed version control systems at scale</li>
