Hospitalist Advanced Practice Nurse (APN)

Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL is currently seeking two experienced Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs) to join our supportive Hospital Medicine team! This is an excellent opportunity for motivated clinicians who are passionate about providing high-quality inpatient care in a collaborative environment.

Position Details

• Will be employed Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group.
• Full-time | Predictable schedule with work-life balance 
• Swing shift: 11:00 a.m. 11:00 p.m. | 7 days on / 7 days off block schedule
• Perform admissions and rounding for hospitalized patients
• Work closely with physicians, nurses, and the multidisciplinary care team
• Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care
• Supportive hospitalist team

Qualifications

• Licensed Advanced Practice Nurse (APN)
• Prior experience in hospital medicine required
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $145,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
