Job Description
Privia Health is seeking a strategic operator and manager for a growing clinical research program. By integrating clinical research into our community-based primary and specialty care practices, we are improving access to new and innovative treatment options in a highly coordinated model.
The Strategic Operations Manager - Clinical Research is an integral part of the national clinical research team, tasked with driving growth and operational performance improvement. Day-to-day, this role will partner closely with program and market leadership, physician medical directors, investigators, and vendor partners to coordinate cross-functional efforts, execute on operational performance improvement, and build new capabilities. A successful candidate will be a strategic, data-driven operator who is comfortable with ambiguity and willing to stretch into new and different tasks as the business requires. The ideal candidate will have a clinical background or training, with preference for real-world experience in a clinical research environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide analytical and project management support for the operations and growth of Privia’s national clinical research program
- Drive success with internal and external stakeholders/partners through relationship management, data-driven performance improvement, and strategic planning
- Identify opportunities to improve upon, and build infrastructure to support program operations and quality improvement
- Collaborate with national and local leadership teams to evaluate and develop new strategies to grow and diversify clinical research
- Support Quality Improvement initiatives
- Assist with development of marketing and patient engagement strategies
- Responsible for delivery of reporting, dashboards, and insights (weekly, monthly) to customers, internal stakeholders, and leadership
- Manage communication of priorities to ensure execution of goals and milestones through regular meetings, status updates, and other written communications
- Willingness to travel to partners and customers in existing and new markets
- Expand the firm’s knowledge base in emerging areas
- Perform other duties as assigned or required
Colorado, New York, New Jersey, California and Washington Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $72,000 to $90,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and clinical training or experience require; advanced degree preferred
- 5+ years relevant work experience; broad knowledge of healthcare, with direct experience in clinical research as a clinical research coordinator or site monitor preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Highly organized with ability to prioritize multiple projects and urgent deliverables while providing exceptional client service
- Data-driven decision-maker; ability to lead through change
- Proficient in the use of software; G-Suite preferred
- Ensure that operations are conducted in accordance with applicable accreditation, statutory and regulatory requirements
- Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations
