Insight is on the hunt for a brave Security Representative to join our squad in the mission to protect and serve our company's priceless possessions and stellar employees. As a true guardian of all things good, you will battle against sneaky thieves, destructive vandals and other no-good criminals to prevent any loss of company property. But that's not all! Key Responsibilities:  

• Responsible for the safety, protection, and well-being of all teammates, visitors, and vendors. 

• Protect all company property and product. 

• Monitor CCTV and DVR recording equipment, management, and monitoring card access control system, responding to burglar, fire and panic alarm systems, teammate and visitor badge tracking responsibilities, designated shipping and receiving security operations functions, and enforcing property control procedures and guidelines. 

• Enforce company policies and guidelines and implement corrective action when required. 

• Enforce OSHA policies and regulations, promoting a safe work environment. 

• Respond to all emergency calls and situations per security operations manual. 

• Conduct routine and designated patrol rounds of facilities and grounds. 

• Provide support for Building Services in cross-functional support between the Facilities and Security Department. 

• Prepare necessary security and company reports and paperwork. 

• Serve as an emergency responder and key holder for company property, alarm systems, after-hour emergency access. 

  

What you’ll need to succeed:   

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED). 

• At least 3+ years of security experience, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

• Military and/or law enforcement experience preferred, but not required. 

• A demonstrated understanding of computers, electronic equipment, and security systems. 

• The ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business and professional journals. 

• The ability to write reports and/or business correspondences. 

• The ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. 

 

The base salary range for this position is typically $35,000 to $40,000 with additional bonus and benefits available. However, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, including experience and location, and we will also consider candidates outside of this range as necessary.
