Partner with regional directors and area directors in developing strategic and sustainable plans for engaging with Catholic communities in their regions/areasIntroduce Protestant Young Life staff to Catholic youth ministers who work in their Young Life regions/areas and encourage solid working relationshipsPartner with regional directors and area directors to recruit, train and support Catholic staff and volunteers at the regional and area levels, building informal and formal leadership pipelines to help attract and engage CatholicsRecruitment may include:participating in young Catholic professional groups

Raise a portion of personal budget as agreed upon with the SVP and Catholic Relations directorMaintain regular communication with donorsAssist with grant applications that would help fund Young Life internships for Catholic staff and volunteersDirect Ministry
Work in partnership with senior vice president and Catholic Relations director to lead the Catholic Relations initiative in the divisionServe as a member of the Divisional Leadership Team alongside regional directors and other divisional leaders; attend divisional and Catholic Relations staff times and retreatsProvide training and provide access to national training to help Protestant Young Life staff and volunteers learn about the Catholic faith tradition and how best to minister to students who identify as CatholicAssist in implementing national Young Life Catholic initiatives within the division and engage Young Life staff in the division to participate in any national Catholic Relations gatherings, such as the biennial Young Life Catholic SummitEnsure that Young Life camps within the division are aware of best practices to help give Catholic staff and volunteers a sense of belonging in the missionAdministration
Set yearly strategic ministry plan and initiatives; review them on a regular basisProvide clear, prompt, appropriate and professional communication to everyone within the scope of ministry.Maintain professionalism concerning office hours, dress, conduct and time management, adhering to all Young Life policies and procedures.Develop an appropriate system for reporting expenses using Young Life accounting applicationsQualifications Required for the Job:
