THE POSITION

FanDuel group is looking to add a Senior Product Analyst to join our Core Products team. You will be responsible for driving business results and empowering data-driven product decisions with timely insights and thought partnership. You will be a data evangelist and a champion of innovation, experimentation, and insights, ensuring we’re positioned to capitalize on opportunities as they arise. 

This role sits on the Product Analytics & Experimentation team and will collaborate with multiple departments within the company including, but not limited to Product, Commercial, Payments, Engineering, Data Science, Customer Service and Responsible Gaming. This is an exciting opportunity to help drive strategic value at FanDuel.


THE GAME PLAN

  • You will be an expert in product and business analytics, know how to lead experimentation initiatives and contribute to product strategy decisions.
  • Consistently deliver accurate, timely and high-quality analysis and insights to stakeholders.
  • As one of the more senior analysts, you will play a key role in a high performing analytics team, providing mentorship and guidance to other team members.
  • Demonstrate analytics excellence, innovating in how we access, analyze, and share insights and define success
  • Provide support to product leaders and pro-actively partner to leverage customer insights to drive product decisions.
  • Be an authority for customer behavioral data; using data to shape our understanding of customer behavior & business performance.
  • Become a data evangelist in the organization and facilitate the democratization of data across all teams.
  • Design and lead complex cross-functional experimentation initiatives.
  • Drive velocity of conclusive experiments with product teams.
 

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in an analytical position.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or related field.
  • Sophisticated SQL experience is required.
  • Experience with Amplitude Analytics is highly preferred. (Other front-end analytics tools acceptable)
  • Experience with languages such as R and Python is preferred.
  • Experience in mentoring and coaching junior analysts is highly preferred.
  • An excellent understanding of product metrics and the latest techniques in measuring the customer experience and app performance.
  • Experience with A/B testing & Experimentation methodologies and tools. Amplitude Experiment prefe
