Production Planner

The Opportunity

InCharge Energy is seeking Production Planner to work with the Transformation Team to support the organization by planning production based on order backlog, sales forecast, and production capacity.  As part of the Supply Chain Team, you will be working with various departments such as Sales, Operations, Service and Product to collect info on customers and sales needs, production capabilities, and material pick lists and availability to develop a production plan that meets everyone’s needs.  It is a vital position that gives direction to the Transformation Team on what they need to provide in order meet company’s revenue goals.  If you are looking for a meaningful job in a fast-paced environment with room for advancement and fit the requirements below, we are looking forward to meeting you and finding the perfect position for your next career. 

What You’ll Do

• Work with the Operations and Sales teams to review order backlog and build weekly production plan based on highest to lowest priority projects.
• Collaborate with Sales team by reviewing forecast of open opportunities and align with Supply Chain team on product needs to have sufficient, but not excessive inventory.
• Support Production team by creating challenging, but achievable production plans, following through to ensure plans are followed, reporting production results, and aiding in resolving issues.
• Work with Shipping team to ensure produced equipment is dedicated to projects based on priorities you established.
• Develop weekly production plan for building finished goods at our warehouse facility considering available inventory, lead times, production capacity and project priorities.
• Maintain SIOP Process by analyzing customer orders, sales forecasts, inventory, vendor orders and production capacity to plan production short and long term.
• Track inventory levels and verify with stakeholders that inventory is accurate between physical count and count in the system.
• Lead and develop new scheduling processes that improves production throughput.
• Build reports in QuickBooks to monitor inventory transactions and ensure data accuracy. 
• Build reports and dashboards in Salesforce to review closed and open opportunities, ensure they are valid and have accurate close and needed by dates.
• Various other duties as needed

Your Experience and Capabilities

• 1-3 years of experience in production environment and production planning
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.  Ability to prioritize based on deadlines
• Detail-oriented, good follow-through, able to multitask, and work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent collaborative management skills
• Solid written and verbal skills, with the ability to present to internal stakeholders
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel
• 2-3 years of Salesforce experience
• Experience working with ERP system
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Passionate about electric transportation and clean energy.
• Ability to travel up to 20%

US Salary Range$70,000—$80,000 USD
