Position Start Date: January 2, 2026

 

Required Degree: Master's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Statistics, or related field. These must be completed by the start date.

Experience: Prior teaching or training experience at the university or professional level. Ability to teach the following subjects at an intermediate level:

Course Topics:

  • Consultative/Solution Selling
  • Account Management & Customer Success
  • Pre-Sales & Proof-of-Concept Work
  • Solution Architecture & Systems Design
  • Clear Technical Communication
  • Artificial Intelligence & Emerging Technologies (Priority Area)

Duties/Expectations: 

  • Course content and teaching materials will need to be created by the adjunct faculty. Teaching assistants will be hired to assist in the course.
  • Proven track record in technical sales, solution engineering/architect roles, or enterprise consulting.
  • Experience with B2B technology products (software, hardware, or services).
  • The candidate should be a current professional in the field of cloud/AI/enterprise solutions sales.
  • Coaching students on professional presentations, proposals, and client meetings.
  • This course will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30pm - 4:45pm

This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.
