Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Mississippi Driver’s License
• Basic Life Support Certification
• EVOC or equivalent certification (can be obtained through AmeriPro EMS)
EVOC stands for Emergency Vehicle Operator Course. It is a training program designed to teach emergency personnel -how to safely operate emergency vehicles under various conditions.

Job Description: Summary
Ensures compliance with all State of Mississippi EMS rules and regulations. Checks and maintains all ambulance equipment and vehicle to insure it is clean and in proper working condition. Maintains all company required licenses and certifications for an EMR position. Must hold a valid state Driver’s License for the state of Mississippi. Must attend mandatory training in addition to all EMR required courses. Follow all company policies and procedures including company medical director approved protocols and standing orders. Employees hired into this position are subject to a six-month introductory probationary period.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Respond to all calls for service dispatched from the AmeriPro EMS and/or County communications center as directed.
• Assist partner with moving and assisting of patients
