Job Description

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
This role will be based in Sunnyvale, CA, San Francisco, CA or New York, NY.
We’re seeking a Strategic Finance Sr. Associate to partner closely with LinkedIn Talent Solutions R&D leaders in shaping product strategy, monitoring key business metrics, identifying emerging trends, and sizing the financial impact of strategic initiatives. This highly cross-functional role emphasizes operational rigor and strong execution against top priorities.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Thinking
- Conducts in-depth analysis of our LinkedIn Talent Solutions business and develops deep understanding of key value drivers to identify improvement areas and opportunities.
- Draws insights and learnings from skills-first initiatives by setting targets and analyzing metric performance.
Stakeholder Influence
- Builds collaborative relationships with other teams and seeks input and feedback to develop an understanding of their priorities and constraints.
- Partners with cross-functional stakeholders to support the growth of initiatives by providing a metrics-oriented perspective, with minimal supervision.
Performance Management
- Manages financial/operational dashboards to monitor business line performance and analyze business drivers.
- Runs, operates, and improves the performance management process for key consumer metrics.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field AND minimum 3 years of experience in finance, finance accounting, management consulting, investment banking, or related field OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in the technology industry.
- Background in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, strategy or growth role within a technology company.
- Experience decomposing and solving real-world business problems, ideally using advanced Excel / SQL skills; able to both delve into the details and engage meaningfully on higher level strategy.
- Effective communication skills to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations; ability to credibly and compellingly present and debate recommendations with senior leadership.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The pay range for this role is $96,000 - $156,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
