VP, FP&A Systems Developer - Corporate Technology (EPM)

We are seeking an experienced and strategic technical lead to spearhead the implementation and support of our FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) platform using Board International. This role is critical in modernizing our financial reporting infrastructure, ensuring data integrity, and aligning technology with business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the ongoing implementation of the Board International platform for FP&A.
- Provide end-to-end technical and functional support for existing FP&A applications, including ERP/GL integrations, during the transition to a new SaaS-based financial platform.
- Collaborate with Corporate Finance and FP&A teams to define and implement data strategies that ensure accuracy, consistency, and actionable insights.
- Analyze and interpret complex financial data, including trial balances, journal entries, and reconciliations, to support accurate reporting and forecasting.
- Guide a team of data engineers and analysts in building scalable data pipelines and reporting solutions.
- Develop and optimize SQL scripts, stored procedures, and dimensional models for financial reporting and analytics.
- Design and maintain financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, P&L, and cash flow statements.
- Apply knowledge of capital markets, financial instruments, and regulatory reporting to enhance the relevance and accuracy of financial analytics.
- Stay current with emerging financial ERP cloud technologies and demonstrate the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new platforms.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in implementing, developing, and supporting financial reporting platforms, preferably within financial services or capital markets.
- Experience with Board International or similar enterprise planning platforms is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of trial balances, general ledger structures, and financial close processes.
- Deep expertise in financial management reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in data modeling using Oracle and Snowflake databases.
- Experience with Hyperion tools (Essbase, Smart View, Web Forms, Reports) and automation using MAXL, batch scripts, and business rules.
- Experience with any BI tool (Qliksense, Sigma, Power BI etc.,)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Familiarity with capital markets operations, financial instruments, and regulatory requirements is a strong plus.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data transformation).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $150,000 - $200,000.
