About the role

At Oura, our mission is to empower every person to own their inner potential. With our award-winning Oura Ring and app, we help over 2.5 million people turn insights about sleep, activity, and readiness into healthier, more balanced lives. We believe that starts from within — by creating a culture where our team feels supported, included, and inspired to do their best work. Our values guide how we show up for each other and our community every day.

This is a hybrid position based in San Francisco, requiring 3 days per week in the office.

We are looking for a Logistics Specialist to help drive and execute our logistics strategy and oversee day-to-day operations within the Americas region. We need an experienced professional who can operate with a level of autonomy to drive strategic improvements, deliver quantifiable cost-savings, and optimize our omni-channel operations. The ideal candidate will be a key subject matter expert for end-to-end logistics, taking full ownership of major projects and initiatives from conception to completion. A proven track record in project management, strategic vendor management, and leveraging data analytics to pioneer new efficiencies is essential for supporting our international growth in a fast-paced environment.

What you will do:

  • Contribute to the logistics strategy for the Americas by executing key initiatives focused on scalability, efficiency, and cost-savings through data analysis.
  • Manage cross-functional logistics projects from conception to completion, including international expansions, new product introductions, and systems integrations. Utilize JIRA to manage timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication to ensure projects are delivered on-time.
  • Serve as a key point of escalation for the most complex shipment issues, such as customs holds, carrier performance failures, or systemic fulfillment errors, implementing robust, long-term solutions.
  • Oversee and optimize the end-to-end order lifecycle, from order creation to final delivery, ensuring our fulfillment network meets the highest standards of accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Global Trade Compliance team to co-develop strategies for customs clearance, ensuring full compliance while optimizing for speed and cost.
  • Partner with Finance and Accounting to provide in-depth analysis for month-end close, ensuring inventory accuracy and providing strategic insights into cost variances.
  • Serve as the primary logistics liaison for the Supply & Demand team, translating their forecast and inventory plans into actionable execution strategies for fulfillment, transportation, and network efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by defining, analyzing, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs). Present findings and recommendations for process improvement to stakeholders and leadership.

Requirements

We would love to have you on our team if you have:

  • 5+ years of hands-on logistics experience, with a proven ability to manage projects and contribute to cost-saving initiatives.
  • Strong proficiency with logistics systems (ERP, WMS) and project management tools like JIRA, combined with solid analytical skills using tools like Google Sheets.
  • Solid experience with omni-channel logistics, including 3PL collaboration, transportation coordination, and the compliance requirements for major retail partners.
  • A strong understanding of global logistics principles, including import/export processes and customs documentation.
  • A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with the ability to manage complex tasks and projects independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a desire to learn and apply new methods and technologies to improve logistics processes.

  • Experience with Amazon Vendor Central is a significant plus.
  • EDI and ERP experience, specifically with Orderful and NetSuite, is highly desirable.
  • A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field is preferred.
