About the Role

The Technical Writer position is a highly impactful role that supports all levels of the business by bridging the communication gap between engineering, operations, EUV Tech’s customers, and business partners to create clear, concise, accurate, and visually engaging content.

Reporting Line

Reports to: Associate Director, Marketing and Communications

Your Role

• Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, data sheets, policies, forms, internal work instructions, and standard operating procedures, for both internal and external audiences
• Experience in documenting mechanical and electrical systems, as well as user software
• Collaborate with SMEs, including engineers, technicians, and field service engineers, to gather information and understand technical concepts necessary to create and maintain these documents, ensure that documentation is accurate and up-to-date
• Work alongside the technical communication team to create, update, and improve documentation and processes
• Manage schedule and documentation project timelines in conjunction with product releases, updates, and shipments
• Manage the documentation review process and incorporate feedback
• Initiate and engage in documentation‐related meetings, including but not limited to: kickoff meetings and document review discussions
• Update and ensure all company documents and presentations adhere to company brand guidelines, style guides, and templates
• Effectively communicate company initiatives, policies, and procedures cross-functionally between departments, SMEs, and stakeholders
• Assist in the creation of video tutorials, infographics, and other visual aids to supplement written documentation

Qualifications (Required)

• BA/BS degree in English, Communications, or a combination of education and industry experience
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience
• Ability to work well autonomously, as well as collaboratively
• Customer service mindset
• Strong sense of design and attention to detail
• Exceptional written and verbal skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Experience using MadCap Flare/Central, or other single-source authoring program
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, Google Suite, and Adobe Acrobat
• Knowledge of tools for content editing, versioning, web content publishing, and offline (such as PDF) publishing
• Experience in procedural copywriting and communication, supporting both internal and external content needs
• Must be able to provide relevant work samples

Qualifications (Bonus to Have)

• Experience using Jira and/or Confluence
• Knowledge of SnagIt and/or Camtasia
• Background in marketing communications and creative copywriting
• Experience using Solidworks Composer, KeyShot, or a similar program for 2D/3D renderings

Position Details

The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $90,000-$110,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and EUV Tech's location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the respective role. Within the range, individual pay is determined by the following factors: job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
