Operations Coordinator

Sundance Creek Post Acute is hiring an Operations Coordinator.

General Purpose: The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to the Nursing Department and staff, ensuring efficient operation of the facility. The Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of clerical and administrative tasks to support the smooth functioning of the nursing facility.Pay: From $20 per hourEssential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Administrative Support: Assist with secretarial tasks at the nursing station, including making copies, filing, and answering phones, especially during mealtimes
• Resident Interaction: Greet residents and visitors, assist with errands, and provide support to residents as needed
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records, including resident files and data, ensuring confidentiality per HIPAA standards
• Coordination: Coordinate activities with other departments and work collaboratively with all staff to ensure smooth operations
• Communication: Communicate clearly, empathetically, and effectively with residents, family members, visitors, and staff
• Compliance: Follow established policies concerning exposure to blood/body fluids and report any occupational exposures immediately
• Support Functions: Assist with maintaining orderly and clean resident rooms and common areas, and ensure residents' needs are met promptly

Requirements:

• Education/Licensure: High school diploma or GED
• Experience: Minimum of 6 months experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
• Skills: Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Must be able to follow directions and work cooperatively with all departments

Working Conditions:

• May encounter frequent interruptions and be involved with residents, family, and government agencies
• May be requested to work beyond scheduled working hours at times
