Reporting to VP, Finance Transformation, the Financial Accountant (FA) will be a key player in the month-end, quarter-end and year-end process for our company. Working closely with the Operational and Corporate Teams, the FA is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting including preparing accruals, variance analysis, journal entries and account reconciliations. The FA will also support completing key control requirements as well as contribute to driving process improvements and core initiatives. This is a hybrid role at our Westchester, IL location.
- Review & prepare revenue and expense accruals
- Prepare variance analysis - P&L and balance sheet
- Complete monthly account reconciliations
- Prepare compliance reporting
- Participation in special projects, committees, and other accounting duties/projects as may be assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Near completion or designated from a professional accounting accreditation (CPA).
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping competencies.
- Excellent mathematical skills.
- Time management skills.
- Positive outlook and a desire to learn new things
- Experience with Oracle Cloud is nice-to-have
