Part-Time Kitchen Aide

Reports to:     Child Nutrition Director, District Lead, & Kitchen Lead

Job Type:       Hourly/Exempt

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to bend and lift up to 50 pounds
• Knowledge of Meal Magic (preferred)

Job Description:                

• Work as part of a team and assist fellow co-workers in their duties
• Prepare and cook food in large quantities
• Maintain routine records related to food, service, and inventory
• Serve and clean up in kitchen and cafeteria
• Keep kitchen at Health Department regulation standards
• Properly check in food products and place them in appropriate storage areas in a timely manner
• Other duties assigned by the Food Service Director or his/her designee

Salary/Benefits: Starting at $15.20 per hour; commensurate with experience

Days/Hours: Student and Professional Development Days/ 9:30 AM-1:30 PM
