About the Opportunity
As the HR Business Partner Sr. Principal (HRBP) for North America, you will serve as a strategic advisor to senior business leaders across Product, Platform, AI, Design, and Strategy. In this role, you will partner with Executive Operating Committee (EOC) and EOC-1 leaders to execute enterprise-wide people strategies that drive business results. By maintaining a broad understanding of business priorities, you will help implement global HR programs, provide strategic guidance on organizational effectiveness, and ensure seamless HR service delivery across your client groups.
What You'll Get to Do
• Align business strategy with people strategy to deliver a consistent employee experience across North America.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with senior business leaders, key stakeholders, and HR Centers of Excellence (COEs).
• Develop a deep understanding of the supported business functions, their priorities, and operational needs.
• Execute core HR programs, including performance management, calibration, leadership development, succession planning, engagement, and culture initiatives.
• Evaluate HR requests using sound business judgment and partner with COEs and HR leadership to determine the best course of action.
• Provide proactive, data-driven guidance on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, organizational design, change management, and talent strategies.
• Consult on complex employee relations matters involving senior leaders, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
• Represent business priorities with HR Centers of Excellence and ensure functional needs are reflected in program design.
• Support workforce planning, succession planning, talent reviews, and identification of critical roles.
• Partner with Talent Programs to execute initiatives such as succession planning, talent reviews, and 360 assessments.
• Utilize analytics and reporting tools, including Excel and Power BI, to support decision-making and measure business outcomes.
• Promote the use of AI and digital tools to improve HR efficiency and enable data-driven decision-making.
• Act as the voice of the business during the implementation of enterprise HR initiatives and support the successful adoption of global programs.
Skills and Experience We Value
• Approximately 10 years of progressive HR experience with demonstrated success partnering with senior business leaders.
• Experience supporting Product, Technology, Strategy, or other complex business functions.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business priorities into effective people strategies.
• Advanced employee relations and investigation experience with the ability to provide balanced, practical, and legally informed recommendations.
• Strong consulting, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, performance management, and change management.
• Experience partnering with HR Centers of Excellence to implement enterprise HR programs.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel, Power BI, and HR analytics.
• Experience using AI and digital tools to improve HR effectiveness and operational efficiency.
• Cross-cultural awareness with experience supporting teams across multiple countries.
• Excellent communication, project management, and change leadership skills.
• Sound judgment with the ability to balance business priorities, policy, and legal considerations.
