Landis+Gyr is seeking a Test Automation Engineer Intern for Summer 2024 to work on-site Monday through Friday at our corporate headquarters in Alpharetta, GA. This is a paid internship but we don't offer a housing stipend or relocation assistance so local candidates are preferred.  

 

 

Project Overview

•    Student will learn about the CI/CD (continuous integration/continuous delivery) process as it relates to DevOps in today’s contemporary delivery process of software systems.
•    Student will participate in automating manual test cases utilizing existing automation framework.
•    Student will evaluate automated smoke test results, log application defects, utilizing MS Azure DevOps (ADO).
•    L+G being a global corporation, student will potentially collaborate with team members located in various locations in the US, India, and Finland.
•    The above list is not comprehensive, and other relevant tasks may be assigned as priorities dictate.

 

 

Student Objectives/Responsibilities:
•    Evaluate automated test results, investigate failures, and log defects utilizing Azure DevOps
•    Participate in automating application tests
•    Learn about tools used in CI/CD, DevOps, and application build pipelines

 

 

Education: 

An undergraduate student seeking their Bachelors degree in Software Engineering or a related field with an expected graduation date of December 2024 or later.
