Essential Functions:
Our Nurse Practitioner is a primary member of the health team who provides medical and educational services to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician, according to Nurse Practitioner Protocol, and within the scope of the Nurse Practitioner License.
This individual works within a cooperative department, utilizing team effort with health care providers, co-workers, and the public to provide positive patient interaction.
In this role the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner is involved in a variety of cases that are customary to an Urgent Care setting. Provide pediatric care to patients from Infant to the age of 21 and their families

Qualifications:
Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from an accredited nursing program
Active RN and PNP licensure in AL and be board certification as a NP in Pediatric Acute Care, Pediatric Primary Care or Family Care
2+ year experience providing care as a nurse practitioner
Strong acute care clinical background preferred but no required
Manage varied activities in a fast-paced urgent care environment
Provide evidence-based quality care
Comfortable with technology [i.e. EMR, Microsoft Suite (word, excel etc.)]
Strong relationship building skills and ability to work in a team setting
Ability to communicate effectively, in verbal and written form, medical partners at various levels, patients and family members
Rotating Schedule: Providers will work on a three_four rotating schedules that includes every other weekend, so you are working 7 out of 14 days; Example schedule (Week 1 – Monday, Wednesday and Friday; Week 2 - Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday). Clinic Hours of Operationo Monday – Friday 10 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.o Saturday and Sunday 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
*Urgent Care for Children’s clinic hours subject to change based on company needs, training, etc.
