Job Summary:
This position is a dedicated Digital Product Owner for Aftermarket Leads within the Advanced Leads & Insights (ALI) organization. The Aftermarket Leads product is centered on converting service opportunities into measurable aftermarket growth. Leads amplify the competitive advantage of Caterpillar and Cat® Dealers with data-driven events that proactively provide relevant information to simplify customer decisions. Operating in a domain with tens of millions of annual maintenance and repair events across a global installed base, this role connects ALI’s dealer-facing products to drive services growth for dealers and Caterpillar by turning insight into action and accelerating revenue outcomes.
Responsibilities span both new program development and the ongoing enhancement of existing Salesforce capabilities. The Digital Product Owner partners closely with the Application Engineering delivery team and Business Stakeholders to execute digital initiatives that strengthen and expand the Aftermarket Leads product suite.
What You Will Do:
- Create, analyze, and validate business requirements that accurately capture dealer and internal stakeholder needs across the Aftermarket Leads ecosystem.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable functional requirements and user stories, ensuring alignment with development, data, and Salesforce platform teams.
- Define acceptance criteria and develop test cases, coordinating user acceptance testing to ensure high-quality delivery of PSE-related digital capabilities.
- Collaborate across the Sales, Marketing, and Prime Salesforce communities and manage integrations between Caterpillar’s Salesforce systems and Cat Dealer CRM environments.
- Support end-to-end requirements, including dependency mapping, impact assessment, documentation, and obtaining timely business partner sign-off.
- Coordinate with product development engineers to track, communicate, and resolve design, development, support, and maintenance issues across the Aftermarket Leads product suite.

- Software Change Request Management: Knowledge of software change request management; ability to manage software product change requests from customers, prospective customers, vendors, and internal staff.
- Software Problem Management: Knowledge of strategies, practices and tools for resolving software problems; ability to manage software problems in installed software products.
- Software Product Business Knowledge: Knowledge of and experience with the business aspects and operation of a software product; ability to manage install base, current uses, future, and product vision.
