Overview
Position: Reporting Business Analyst I or II
Location: Austin, TX (If within 30 miles must be able to work 2 days on-site) or Remote
Position Summary: The Reporting Analyst will utilize 5+ years mortgage servicing experience along with 3+ years’ MSP experience to assist business users to create and understand our internal customers need for data. The role will be to work closely with business users to gather and translate business requirements into technical requirements for report developers. Reports will drive the analysis and support of development tasks centered around Black Knight's Mortgage Servicing Platform (MSP).
Salary: $28.85 – 33.65/hr. D.O.E.
Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into technical documentation by collaborating with management and/or business users.
- Manage and update new and outstanding report request tickets, and master report inventory.
- Assist with quality control and review of reports to ensure accuracy prior to business validation and production release.
- Participate in meetings with team members or business users to document prioritization of report requests.
- Leverage expertise in key mortgage areas (FC, BK, REO, Loss Mit, etc.) to support business units in designing and developing reports.
- Coordinate the data analysis, data mapping, and validation of data/requirements.
- Assess current process and procedures, providing report recommendations to leadership for enhancing productivity and quality.
- Able to multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Assist with creating procedures and documentation of processes.
Qualifications
Desired Education/Experience: The ideal candidate should be a successful mortgage servicing professional with at least 3 years of experience in the Mortgage Technology or Servicing Sector. The candidate should bring the following:
Work Authorization: Must be able to verify identity and employment eligibility to work in the U.S.
