IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
- Create reports with relationship to on-time deliveries and stockroom accuracy.
- Maintain and originate air shipments, transfers, and stock return information.
- Distribute bill of materials to label room operators for the printing of labels and nameplates.
- Assist in all activities of the cycle count.
- Perform all material handling and zone coordinator functions.
- Provide training and assistance to all assigned personnel.
- Obey all safety rules and Stop work if continuing is unsafe or will create an unsafe condition. Report safety concerns immediately
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
- Requires the use of judgment to plan, perform, and make decisions as to bill of material requirements within recognized standards.
- Be able to initiate work assignments for material handlers.
- Take initiative and ability to make quality decisions based on known policies and procedures with minimal supervision.
- Must possess exceptional leadership skills and have the ability to motivate others and communicate effectively.
- Act as a leader with utmost integrity, professionalism and positive attitude.
- Must be a teammate and lead by example.
WHO YOU ARE:
You will make sound decisions, even in the absence of complete information, provide timely and effective information to others across the organization, and stage activities and schedules
FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Six (6) months experience as Material Handler.
- Forklift certified
PHYSICAL DEMAND:
- While performing duties may be required to stand, walk, stoop, bend, twist and/or lift up to 50 pounds throughout an entire shift. May be required to work more than 8 hours in a day or 40 hours in a week based on production needs.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
- Exposed to manufacturing plant conditions and elements including but not limited to noise, dust, dirt, oil, and grease.
- PPE's will be required including safety glasses, ear plugs and/or safety shoes.
- May be required to work at different work stations as production needs require
