Manual QA Engineer (Customer Relations Development Team)

About the Team
We are Quadcode, a fintech company excelling in financial brokerage activities and delivering advanced financial products to our global clientele. Our flagship product, an internal trading platform, is offered as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution to other brokers.
We are looking for an experienced QA Manual Engineer to join our Customer Relations Development Team. Our team focuses on enhancing support and sales processes by providing various communication channels for interacting with our users, including chat, email, telephony, and SMS. Tech stack includes JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, and PHP. We work on diverse tasks such as integrating new communication channels, building specific support or sales bots, and developing proactive ways to engage with users. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our development team to identify, report, and resolve issues. Your work will be crucial in ensuring that our product meets the highest standards of quality and functionality.

Tasks:

• Develop and maintain testing models for companies' support and sales processes;
• Conduct manual testing primarily on websites and PWA applications, ensuring all functionalities meet quality standards;
• Perform functional, performance, and security testing of RESTful APIs, WebSocket endpoints, and gRPC services to ensure proper request-response handling and adherence to documentation/specifications;
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure proper testing coverage and issue resolution;
• Document test cases, execute them, and report bugs with detailed descriptions and steps to reproduce;
• Plan for future integration of automated tests using Gherkin and Java;
• Prepare and manage testing documentation, including test plans and reports;
• Work towards integrating Allure for reporting and visualization of test results.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in manual testing, particularly with websites and PWA applications;
• Basic understanding of automated testing concepts, with the desire to grow into automated testing using Gherkin and Java;
• Familiarity with Allure or similar tools for test reporting and result visualization;
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team;
• Fluency in English (B1 level or above).
