Technical Writer (USA)

This is a remote position.

Requirements

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and subject matter experts to gather information and understand complex technical concepts.
  
• Produce high-quality documentation, including user guides, API documentation, release notes, and tutorials, tailored to various audiences.
  
• Revise and update existing documentation to ensure accuracy, relevance, and consistency.
  
• Manage documentation projects, including planning, scheduling, and tracking progress.
  
• Ensure documentation compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company guidelines.
  
• Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve documentation processes.
  

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  
• 4-8 years of proven technical writing experience in the fintech or SaaS industry (preferred).
  
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen attention to detail.
  
• Proficiency in using documentation tools and software (e.g., Markdown, Adobe FrameMaker, Confluence).
  
• Strong understanding of software development processes and technology stacks.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Experience with version control systems is a plus.
