Are you passionate about helping people through their toughest moments? Join our dedicated team as a Mobile Crisis Specialist II, where you'll respond to individuals in mental health crisis—either out in the community or onsite at University Health Emergency Department and clinics.

What You'll Do:

·         Provide fast, focused mental health support to individuals in crisis

·         Help people avoid unnecessary hospital stays or justice system involvement

·         Work closely with a compassionate, skilled team to assess and stabilize situations

·         Connect clients with the right resources and next steps for recovery

What You Need:

·         A Master’s degree (or higher) in social work, counseling, psychology, family therapy, or a related field

·         MO LMSW (if you're a social worker)

·         If working in Behavioral Health Inpatient: BLS certification required

·         Solid understanding of psychiatric terms, diagnoses, and crisis intervention

·         Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

·         Good judgment and flexibility in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

·         Willingness to complete training and meet driving requirements if applicable

·         Experience working with diverse populations

·         Familiarity with community mental health systems, crisis intervention, and relevant laws (like civil commitment and guardianship)
