Senior Business Analyst (Remote, US)

Mimecast is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Worldwide Partner Programs team. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic evolution of our partner programs at a global level. This role will be responsible for synthesizing analysis and business analytics requirements from various data sources, including market data and partner insights. The insights and recommendations will be instrumental in proactively identifying areas of opportunity and driving strategic change to achieve our partner-first strategy. As a trusted advisor to program and channel leaders, it will lead cross-functional teams through ideation, discovery, and the formulation of a cohesive partner-first strategies and tactics. Thought leadership and analytical skills will be key in shaping the success of our partner programs 

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate Program Effectiveness: Assess the performance and impact of existing partner programs, business processes, and the overall partner ecosystem. Identify areas for improvement and efficiency enhancement. 
• Analytics Business Requirements: Gather, analyze, and manage analytics business requirements from various stakeholders across different channels. Collaborate closely with key partners to understand their needs and challenges. 
• Program Analytics Roadmap: Own and lead Partner Program Analytics roadmap in partnership with BI and other cross-functional teams.  
• Program Metrics/KPIs Ownership: Serve as the business owner for Program Metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the relevant metrics, ensuring they align with the strategic objectives. 
• Business Case Development: Lead the development of business cases, investment feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analyses for proposed program enhancements or new initiatives. 
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment by working closely with cross-functional teams to problem-solve and pursue growth opportunities. Act as a bridge between different teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution. 
• Identifying Improvement Opportunities: Utilize metrics and KPIs to identify areas of improvement within the business. Present data-driven insights to enable data-based decision-making 

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in partner programs or a related field. 
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data from multiple sources. 
• Proficiency in data manipulation, visualization, and analysis using tools such as Excel, Tableau, or similar. 
• Experience with program evaluation, cost-benefit analysis, and investment feasibility studies. 
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences. 
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster a collaborative work environment. 
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset. 
• Demonstrated thought leadership and the ability to drive change through data-driven insights. 
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
