JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Responsible for the full lifecycle of the back-end development of the business’s data warehouse as well as development of ETL processes, performance administration, and dimensional designing of the table structures.
• Tasked with leading data-related technical projects for the business across platforms which involves participations in project planning and the analysis of the business’s data requirements and solutions.
• Monitor and track SLA response time for EDW Service Request & Change Request for data requests, data extractions, reports, dashboards and ensure no aging tickets.
• Arrange and attend stakeholder meetings with technical team members and ensure feedback of stakeholder responses and requests to technical teams are responded to within agreed timelines.
• Collaborate with data stakeholders and stewards on the verification and the accuracy of the information collected.
• Create, maintain and document data mappings including physical names, logical names, calculated measures, data types, metadata definitions, and domain definitions from source system to data warehouse and respective reporting/dashboard tools by using Data Catalog solution, Confluence or manual documentations.
• Preparing data for use by Reporting/Visualisation & Dashboard platform; Develop and publish data source/data sets based on business requirements; Resolve any data or performance issues related to Reporting/Visualisation & Dashboard platform.
• Design and develop data applications using selected tools and frameworks as required and requested.
• Process unstructured data into a form suitable for analysis and analyze processed data.
• Maintain effective data retention policies.

REQUIREMENTS:

WHO YOU ARE:

• BA/BS/MS degree or equivalent experience; Computer Science or Math background preferred.
• Experience Architecting
• Fluency in ETL tools, preferably AWS Data Pipeline/Glue or related ETL technologies.
• Fluency in Dashboard & Reporting tools, preferably AWS QuickSight.
• Fluency in other AWS skillsets: Step Functions, AWS Lambda, EventBridge, Cloudwatch, SNS, Glue ETL, Redshift, DynamoDB, Batch, EMR, S3 event triggers, S3
• Knowledge of AWS data architectures
• High proficiency in SQL, preferably Redshift or related database technologies
• 3+ years of experience of IT platform implementation in a highly technical and analytical role.
• Strategic, good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A good level of business knowledge.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work with all levels of personnel from business teams to senior management.
• Ability to communicate well technically, both orally and in written form.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity.
