Schedule Weekly Hours:

The Surgical and Digestive Care Unit is a 24-bed unit that provides care for a wide variety of patients, including those needing medically managed digestive care and surgical care ranging from trauma, abdominal, vascular, urology, otolaryngology, bariatric, and plastic surgery patients.

What you will do:

• 0.2 FTE –16 hours every two weeks

• 8 hour shifts rotating days (6:30am-3:00pm), PM’s (2:30pm-11:00pm) and night (10:30pm - 7:00am)

• Every other weekend and holiday

• Care for a variety of surgical patients in the inpatient setting, utilizing a vast array of nursing skills

• 40-hour flex overtime computation. 

• Shift Differentials: PMs: $.75, Nights: $1.75, Weekends: $1.50 

What you will need:

• Wisconsin Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 30 days of hire
