Job Description
In this leadership role, the Sr. Manager, GTM Strategy will focus on helping build, develop, and implement the GTM practice, collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Product, and Sales for Visa’s Risk and Identity Solutions. In addition to building and leading strategies, you may also lead a team of professionals across various GTM functions including CI, Pilots/use cases, and Sales Enablement.
Essential Functions
Steward product teams through pilots to GTM, supporting market analysis and regional setup
Own the GTM strategy, working with marketing teams to prioritize target segments, recommend channels, and drive the timely launch of Go-to-Market plans
Develop a growth strategy through an understanding of the market, competitors, and positioning
Anticipate market trends to influence competitive intelligence and RAIS strategic direction
Work with marketing teams and sales teams to develop sales playbooks and marketing programs, including performance marketing plans
Together with CI, gather customer feedback and market insights including win/loss interviews
Be the voice of the customer and help define the customer value proposition and messaging strategy
Identify opportunities and work closely with product and sales on positioning for cross-sell/upsell strategies
Develop reports, leveraging data to understand KPIs, funnels, and customer behavior and drive strategy
Work with Product team to influence pilots and help develop KPI’s and learning objective and own the creation of post pilot case studies/use cases from start to finish
Work with sales teams on developing targeted customer lists for ABM and other customer-centric marketing strategies
Manage key partnerships with vendors and third parties to ensure smooth delivery and operations
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services, banking, or FinTech
- Degree in Marketing or related field, MBA preferred
- Proven track record of leading the development and implementation of successful B2B marketing and/or sales enablement strategies with excellent cross-functional leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively with teams in different geographical locations
- Strong writer and storyteller with the ability to create custom pitch decks
- Excellent presentation and training skills
- Strong project management skills
- Analytical skills and experience with Power BI, Tableau, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar tools
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and navigate through ambiguity

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
