Job Summary: 
 
ZelTech requires a security specialist- mid level to perform duties for the Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) or SAP Personnel Security Officer (SPO) providing direct support to the Government Program Security Officer (PSO) and the other Security Specialists as required. As a CPSO/ SPO, she/he will provide support for program security and execution of all security policies and requirements for specified SAP programs, compartments, sub compartments, and projects for Office of Space and Counterspace. (SCS) acquires, tests, deploys, operates, and maintains multiple global networks of MASINT sensor systems. The mission of SCS is to provide “timely, objective and cogent military intelligence to warfighters, defense partners, and defense and national security policymakers. To aid in the execution of this mission statement, SCS has a critical support requirement for administrative and executive support to the SCS Head Quarters (HQ) element, as well as organizational support (security, administrative and logistical) to SCS as a whole.


Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) or SAP Personnel Security Officer (SPO) providing direct support to the Government Program Security Officer (PSO) and the other Security Specialists as required.
  • Provide support for program security and execution of all security policies and requirements for specified SAP programs, compartments, sub-compartments, and projects. 
  • Assist facilitating visitor requests, badging, security access status checks, and campus gate access, supporting program and government meetings,
  • Ensure a security regime is maintained and supported to ensure SCI and SAP accesses are granted and maintained, including but not limited to; annual SAP training and foreign reporting, facilitation and completion of program accesses, reviewing and maintaining appropriate SAP documentation (PSQs/PARs), indoctrinations and debriefing paperwork, and ensuring personnel maintain SCI/SAP accesses.
  • Support the PSO/CPSO in reporting, mitigation, and report of the incidents in the event there is an information leak.
  • Assist in the preparation and uploading of security clearance packages utilizing.
  • government security databases (e.g., JADE, Scattered Castles, JPAS, etc.).
  • Support, on an as needed basis, life cycling SCIF management activities such as
  • inspections, paperwork, and periodic reviews.
  • Assist in the maintenance of a security regimen which ensures all classified information generated or received is appropriately protected according to guidelines in DIA, DoD, and applicable IC security directives including but not limited to DoDD 5205.07 and associated manuals, ICD 705, and DoDM 5200.45.


Requirements:

  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study, DoD or military service. 
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Counter-Intelligence Polygraph.
  • A minimum of at least three years of experience with government security databases (e.g., JADE, DISS, Scattered Castles, JPAS).
  • Completion of prerequisites for access to JPAS (PII course). 
  • Training and experience working with SAP programs.
  • Successful completion of background and drug screening.


Preferred Requirements: 

  • Introduction to Special Access Programs Course (SA101.01). 
  • Special Program Security Certification (SPSC). 
  • Experience with SCIF accreditations and inspections; experience performing GSSO or CPSO functions for government and contractor customers.
  • Completion of instructor led Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) with focus on industrial, personal, or SAP.
