General Description:We are currently seeking student interns to help develop the practicality of cutting-edge quantum technologies. Essential Duties:Under the supervision and guidance of a technical advisor, the quantum technology intern may support:Experimental benchworkSoftware development Analysis of experimental dataComputational theory Required Skills:Coursework or experience in one or more of the following:Electromagnetic/optical/quantum simulationScientific data analysisSoftware developmentElectrical test and measurementOptical test and measurementCryogenic systemsProtocol/algorithm development/implementationCircuit design and evaluation
Proficiency with MS Office suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Required Education:Minimum 2 years completed of a Math, Science, Engineering, or related undergraduate program
Special Requirements:U.S. citizenshipAbility to obtain and maintain a Government security clearance
Compensation:The pay range for this position is $22 - $35 per hour.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
