Job Title: Client Support – Associate (Onsite IT Support)
Location: Grand Island, NE 68803
Contract Duration: 3 months (with potential to extend and convert to full-time)
Work Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Two days a week will be 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (flexible, except Mondays)
  • Occasional overtime and weekend support based on business needs
Job Description:
Seeking an Onsite IT Support Associate to provide technical support for internal employees at our office location. This individual will act as the face of IT for the site, handling new hire onboarding, printer maintenance, hardware/software troubleshooting, and daily ticket resolution. The role combines strong technical knowledge with excellent customer service in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and networks
  • Install and configure software, print drivers, utilities, and hardware
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain onsite IT systems and devices
  • Manage and resolve tickets via internal chat-based system
  • Support new hire onboarding by issuing laptops and setting up accounts
  • Maintain onsite printers and peripherals
  • Collaborate with internal teams and provide remote support when necessary
  • Shadow senior team members during the 3–4-week onboarding and training period
Requirements:
  • 1–3 years of IT support or related experience
  • 1–3 years of customer service experience
  • Proficiency with Windows OS, desktop/laptop hardware, and printers
  • Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage fluctuating ticket volumes
  • Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor under pressure
Preferences:
  • Certifications in IT (e.g., A+, Network+, etc.) or a relevant degree
  • Experience with VPN support
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and remote desktop tools
