Job Description

Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) Mission Technologies Warfare Systems partners with the DoD and defense innovation ecosystem to rapidly acquire and field critical and emerging technologies, particularly integrated communications, networking, and Systems-of-Systems (SoS) technologies, to enhance national security and warfighter capabilities. Through a multiagency contracting approach, the Collaborative Operations for Battlespace Resilient Architecture (COBRA) initiative focuses on advancing these technologies to achieve multi-domain battlespace integration and resilient command and control. This includes a broad range of services such as systems engineering, cybersecurity, operational integration, and data analytics, all aimed at modernizing communications and ensuring seamless information exchange for the DoD and its allies.

 

This role is part of a pending contract proposal. We are actively interviewing to identify qualified candidates in anticipation of a successful award.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Serves as exercise planner by designing and conducting training development programs to improve organizational performance.  
  • Experience with the Planning, Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation, and Maintenance (PADDIE-M) training framework.
  • Maintains ongoing training assessments and evaluations through the capture of success, relevance, and applicability of training exercises.
  • Collects and documents applicable data, trends, and metrics.
  • Confirms After Action Reviews (AAR) to identify lessons learned, and refines Training Packages (Del. 21),
  • Techniques, and Procedures based on knowledge through training assessments and evaluations.
  • Provides development and analysis of requirements, which enables the fusion of analysis operations and material/non-material solutions in support of the customer mission.
  • Ensures training materials meet customer requirements.
  • Produces user manuals, briefings, and other materials to enable the use of newly developed capabilities, concepts, and techniques on the Mission Partner's infrastructure.
  • Designs and implements assessment tools, analyzes training data, and provides actionable insights to improve training quality and outcomes.
  • Creates assessment tools and evaluation methods to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Develops pre- and post-training assessments, surveys, and feedback forms.
  • Collects and analyzes data from training evaluations, including participant feedback, test scores, and performance metrics.
  • Identifies trends, strengths, and areas for improvement.
  • Generates detailed reports on training effectiveness, and provides recommendations for enhancing training programs.
  • Communicates findings to stakeholders, including trainers, Human resources (HR), and management.
  • Works with trainers and instructional designers to refine training content and delivery methods based on evaluation results.
