CVD Rebuild Technician

This position is responsible for managing all activities related to the rebuild of CVD reactors.  This includes documentation, component inventory and fixturing.  This position is also required to have a working knowledge of CVD operations and will be required to perform reactor operations as needed.  Successful candidates will have a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform hands-on repairs and troubleshooting. 

 

Your Opportunity: 

• Rebuild reactors and fixtures used in the coating process. 
• Maintain reactor rebuild documentation.
• Assist with rebuild component lifetime tracking.
• Manage and maintain rebuild component inventory.
• Build new fixturing for all reactor types.
• Prepare for upcoming fixture assemblies.
• Assist with fixture lifetime tracking.
• Fixture modification as required.
• Assist CVD Reactor Technicians with routine reactor rebuild repairs (Example - Cleaning exhaust lines and valvues, changing drives, changing TCs, etc.).
   

Your Profile: 

• Associate degree is required; degree in technical field is preferred 
• 2 years of manufacturing experience, preferred
• Basic knowledge of CVD reactor systems
• Hands-on mechanical ability
• Basic knowledge of blueprint reading 
• Ability to work without close supervision
• Strong organization, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in basic math skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Detail-oriented
• Attention to detail
