Digital Technology Rising Leader Associate (Rotational Development Program)

Role Overview:

The Digital Technology (DT) Rising Leaders Program is an exciting early career rotational program designed for recent college graduates with a bachelor's degree in a technology-related field. This two-year program aims to develop future leaders for our DT Organization through a fast-track system of three dynamic rotations, each lasting eight months. Participants will gain hands-on experience in key areas such as Data Science & Analytics, Internet of Things (IoT) Programs, Business Applications & Mobility Program Delivery, Project Management, Enterprise & Cloud Architecture, Infrastructure, Global Workplace Services, Operations, Cybersecurity, and our innovative Otis Accelerator (OX).

This highly competitive program offers immersive learning experiences designed to cultivate innovative and collaborative leaders who excel in cross-functional collaboration and thrive in dynamic environments. Participants will engage in meaningful, real-world projects that address complex challenges, build strategic relationships, and gain exposure to critical areas of Otis’s digital transformation journey. Reporting to the Program Manager, this role provides mentorship, leadership development opportunities, and a clear pathway to a successful career in Digital Technology. Please note that this is not a training program; while some training may be provided, it is fundamentally a leadership development program designed to stretch you to your full potential.



On a typical day you will:

  • Participate in dynamic 8-month rotations across key Digital Technology functions, gaining exposure to core systems and processes.
  • Work on impactful, real-world projects that address critical business challenges and contribute to the digitalization of Otis operations globally.
  • Collaborate with rotation managers and mentors to deepen technical knowledge, develop innovative solutions, and build cross-functional leadership capabilities.
  • Engage with the DT Engagement Teams and DT Energy Board to support strategic initiatives and broaden your network.
  • Provide updates on your progress and impact through system-based tracking tools, ensuring transparency and alignment with program goals.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of organizational strategies that leverage technology for long-term success.

Upon successful completion of the program, you will fill a role in one of the following areas:

Enterprise Architecture GenAI :

  • Develop expertise in enterprise architecture principles.
  • Cultivate discipline for delivering software products that consistently exceed quality standards and embody industry’s best practices.
  • Contribute to the development and evolution of enterprise architecture strategy with a focus on GenAI integration and adoption.
  • Assist in evaluating and selecting GenAI platforms, tools, and models aligned with enterprise digital transformation goals.
  • Support the creation of AI governance frameworks, including ethical use policies, model lifecycle management, and compliance with data privacy standards.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects to define reference architectures for AI-driven use cases across business domains (e.g., service, engineering, supply chain).
  • Participate in the design and prototyping of GenAI-powered solutions, such as copilots, smart assistants, and content generation tools.
  • Analyze legacy system capabilities and help identify modernization opportunities through GenAI-based automation.
  • Help maintain an inventory of GenAI use cases, capturing architecture dependencies, anticipated value, and technical feasibility.
  • Work cross-functionally with cybersecurity, data governance, and application development teams to ensure secure and scalable AI integration.
  • Present research findings and architectural recommendations to EA leaders and senior stakeholders as part of rotational exposure.
  • Monitor emerging GenAI trends and contribute to internal knowledge sharing, training, and innovation sessions.

Cloud:

  • Lead multi-cloud migration projects, optimizing deployment and cloud management strategies.
  • Ensure seamless integration and operation of cloud-based systems across the organization.
  • Work with IT and other departments to enhance cloud infrastructure and services.
