We are looking for a Senior Manager, AP/AR to join the Finance Operations organization. In this role, you will mainly be responsible for overseeing the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams as well as working with our Treasury team.  In addition to day to day tasks, you would be working and participating in the month-end closing activities. 

The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple teams and drive process improvements within a rapidly changing environment. We seek someone who has an analytical outlook and strong critical thinking. To be successful in this role, you will need to be detail- oriented and have a passion for process and reporting accuracy. This role reports into the Assistant Controller. 

The Impact You Will Make:

• Overseeing both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams  

• Regular meeting cadence with team members  

• Review and approve new customers in Workday

• Review and approve customer invoices and adjustments in Workday

• Coordinate between Account Receivables team and Sales teams

• Coordinate between Accounts Receivables team and Care teams

• Review and approve Accounts Receivables special requests  

• Review and approve new vendors for Accounts Payable in Workday

• Review and approve prepaid schedules

• Review and approve all payments  

• Oversee Corporate Credit card program

• Provide support for expense reimbursement questions/issues with team

• Perform Month-end closing activities including review and reconciliation

• Participate in projects to improve efficiency, automate and align with the team's strategic initiatives

• Perform other duties as assigned within the Finance Operations team

What You Bring to the Table:

• Previous experience in Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Processing

• At least 3 years of previous managerial experience

• BA/BS required

• Ability to work across teams effectively

• Highly adaptable and passionate for process optimization

• Experience in Workday Financials is an asset

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with other departments

• Knowledge of Google suite software, PowerBI, Queries is an asset

Chicago Salary Range: $96,000 - $144,000

Grubhub uses geographic-specific salary structures, which means the salary offered may vary depending on where the job is located. The final salary offer will take into account various factors, such as the candidate's skills, education, training, credentials, and experience.
