Interprets, analyzes and supplies data for projects.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or financial related field
Previous Work Experience: Previous experience in general ledger accounting and financial statement preparation preferred
- Demonstrates ability to consistently meet the department work schedule and prioritize duties as necessary to meet deadlines
- Completes tasks in a timely and accurate manner
- Prepares and records daily and month-end journal entries required to present accurate financial information. Anticipates and keeps the Supervisor apprised of issues as appropriate
- Prepares bank deposits, records all cash deposits, electronic banking, credit card, refund and returned check activity
- Performs reconciliations of general ledger accounts including, but not limited to daily bank reconciliations, reconciliation of daily and month-end accounts receivable, withholding accounts and comparisons of the general ledger to other systems (FAS, GPMS, Precision BI, etc.)
- Prepares monthly financial statements and supporting schedules for all entities as assigned in an accurate and timely fashion. Distributes financials to appropriate individuals upon review and approval.
- Records general ledger fixed asset transactions and maintains fixed asset software. This includes adding and disposing of assets, recording depreciation, and updating asset information as needed. May also maintain backups of company databases.

- Primary backup for accounts payable position
- Assists with quarterly bonus calculations, annual budget, audit process and other projects as assigned.
- Calculates and files sales and use tax returns
- Reviews invoices for proper coding, audits sales tax applicability and accrues as necessary

- Maintains the finance department’s central files
- Updates and maintains the finance department’s storage records in accordance with the record retention policy
- Maintains confidentiality of all patient and corporate/physician financial information
