Position Summary
The Leadership Development Consultant plays a key role in delivering high impact leadership development experiences across the organization. This role manages and facilitates a portfolio of leadership development programs, serving as a trusted and credible facilitator for leaders at multiple levels. The position balances program execution, facilitation, and content development, while flexing to support ad hoc leadership development needs that strengthen teams and leader effectiveness. Partnering closely with key stakeholders, the role ensures leadership programs are engaging, well executed, and aligned to strategic priorities.
Essential Responsibilities:
Program Delivery & Facilitation
- Facilitate leadership development programs, workshops, and learning experiences for leaders across the organization.
- Serve as a trusted facilitator and thought partner for leadership populations by applying strong leadership acumen and presence.
- Adapt facilitation approach to meet the needs of different audiences and learning contexts.
Program Execution & Administration
- Manage day to day execution of leadership development programs and offerings, including logistics, coordination, materials, and participant experience.
- Ensure programs are delivered consistently, on schedule, and with a high standard of quality.
- Partner with key stakeholders to support smooth execution and continuous improvement of offerings.
Content Development & Customization
- Develop, adapt, and refine leadership development content, including facilitator guides, participant materials, and learning assets.
- Customize content to address emerging business needs, leader feedback, and ad hoc leadership development requests.
- Apply adult learning principles and best practices to enhance engagement and learning transfer.
Partnership & Leader Support
- Partner with key stakeholders to align delivery with broader talent strategies.
- Respond to ad hoc leadership development needs by designing and delivering targeted sessions that support team effectiveness and leader capability.
- Contribute insights from program delivery and leader interactions to inform future program design and enhancements.
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Leadership, Business, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- 5+ years of experience in leadership development, talent management, learning facilitation, or related roles.
- Demonstrated experience facilitating leadership development programs for leader audiences.
- Strong leadership acumen with the ability to build credibility and trust with others.
- Experience developing and adapting offerings using adult learning principles.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship building skills.
- Ability to flex between program administration, facilitation, and content creation in a dynamic environment.
