Position: Staff Product Manager, Core Retail

Job Location: 702 SW 8th Street, Bentonville, AR 72716

Duties: Manage the product roadmap and execute projects in an Agile methodology using tools like JIRA and Confluence, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely delivery. Conduct discovery, ideation, and gathering of product requirements to inform the development of space merchandising tools, using tools like Confluence and Mural for collaborative planning. Lead the strategy and development of Machine learning-powered platform for optimizing category placement across Walmart's physical stores. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including developers, UX designers, and business partners, to build an enterprise platform product that meets the needs of business users and enhances the merchandising process. Build complex Machine Learning/AI models which recommend floorplans by automating the manual floorplan draw process. Create and present data visualization dashboards using Excel, PowerBI, and Tableau to share analytics and insights to track the metrics and achieve the OKRs. Design high-fidelity mockups for end-user applications using Figma and InVision to ensure a user-friendly interface and improve user interaction with space merchandising tools. Handle application outages and errors, managing customer friction points efficiently using ServiceNow and JIRA to maintain high service levels and customer satisfaction. Track application reliability and observability metrics using tools like Splunk and Quantum Metrics to ensure the platform's consistent performance and availability. Employ product analytics and adoption tracking using PowerBI, Tableau, and Quantum Metrics to measure the OKRs and customer experience. Work with data scientists to integrate machine learning models into the space merchandising platform, providing actionable recommendations for optimizing category placement and space usage.

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or the equivalent in computer science, engineering, or a related field plus 4 years of experience in product management or related experience.

Skills Required: Must have experience with: Data analysis using SQL Query in tools such as BigQuery, SQL Server; Creating Data visualization dashboards for analytics and insights using tools like Excel, PowerBI, Tableau; Designing high fidelity mockups of applications that serve end users using tools like Figma, InVision; Creating and tracking reliability and observability metrics for application availability using tools like Splunk, Quantum Metrics; Product analytics and adoption tracking metrics using tools like PowerBI, Tableau, Quantum Metrics; Roadmap planning and execution in Agile methodology using tools like JIRA, Confluence; Discovering, ideating and gathering of product requirements using tools like Confluence, Mural; Managing, tracking and supporting application outages, errors and customer friction using ServiceNow, JIRA; Defining product Go to Market Strategy by studying competitive landscape and identifying scope, scale and risks; Building an enterprise platform product for business users by collaborating with cross functional stakeholders like Developers, UX Designers and Business partners; Developing recommendations for business users using machine learning models by collaborating with Data Scientists.
