Job Description:

The position will support SDMI's Information Technology and GIS (Geographic Information Systems) programs.  The position will work directly with the Louisiana Military Department and the Louisiana Army National Guard and assist them in ensuring their environmental program complies with Army Regulation 200-1. A valid driver's license is required. This position is subject to drug/alcohol testing in accordance with PS-67. **This position is located at Camp Beauregard in Pineville, LA**

Job Responsibilities:

Will be responsible for updating eMS SharePoint, assisting users in utilizing eMS SharePoint; training Environmental Compliance Officers (ECO) on using the ECO website; preparing briefings;  (25%)

Track and improve upon non-conformance and non-compliance findings by identifying and implementing objectives, targets, Key Performance Indicators and corrective and preventative action plans related to significant environmental aspects  (25%)

Coordinate and execute periodic audits/evaluations of LAARNG environmental program and prepare results for reports for quarterly review by the Cross Function Team (CFT and EQCC; prepare, coordinate, and lead EPAS audits and report status to the National Guard Bureau utilizing online reporting tools (WEBCASS) (25%)

Gathers and verifies field data for utilization in mapping applications. Collect, process, and correct data from the field. Gather, analyze, and integrate spatial data and determine the best way to display the information using GIS. Other duties as assigned. (25%)

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years of professional-level computer experience.

Specific Experience:

Experience working in GIS, information technology,  Microsoft Sharepoint, maintaining web applications; familiarity with environmental compliance, conducting evaluations and audits.
